When David Berglas created the legendary ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number), he gave the magic community a riddle that seemed impossible to solve – a Penrose Triangle of endless mystery.

Until… Craig Petty made a discovery in early 2021 that shook the entire magic world to its foundations. He opened the door to a new level of what we once considered impossible.

With The Atomic Deck, the following happens. Every. Single. Time. Again:

• The deck of cards is laid out openly on the table.

• The audience is thinking of a random card and a random number. No forcing. They consciously choose cards and numbers that are not standard and are allowed to exchange thoughts as often as they like.

• As soon as everyone is convinced that the choices are completely free, you slowly and visibly pick up the deck. You start dealing slowly and in a controlled manner… until the chosen number is reached.

• At that spot lies exactly the card they had even thought of.

1️⃣ The inspection: If you perform this trick for another magician who is inspecting the deck of cards, they will see that it is not a normal deck. For non-magicians, you can show the cards freely, but we advise against giving the deck away.

2️⃣ No mental math: Unlike many other ACAAN versions, you don’t have to do any mental arithmetic. You make smart use of something almost everyone carries with them these days: their phone. With the included tools, your audience encodes all the info you need in a natural way
